April 26 Community Workshop

The City of San Pablo will host the second of two Community Workshops on the Bicycle Pedestrian Master Plan that the City is preparing. The second and final Workshop will be held at the San Pablo Community Center, located at 2450 Road 20, San Pablo, on Wednesday, April 26, 2017, from 7pm - 9pm.  Childcare and food and drinks will be provided. 
For the past six months, the City has been speaking with residents about opportunities to improve walking and biking in San Pablo.  Based on these conversations, the City will share its preliminary recommendations on a range of bicycle and pedestrian improvements for public input.  Come share your thoughts!

Taller Comunitario programado para el 26 de Abril

La Ciudad de San Pablo será el anfitrión del segundo de dos Talleres Comunitarios del Plan Maestro Peatonal Ciclista que la Ciudad está preparando. El segundo y último taller es el miércoles, 26 de Abril, 2017 en el Centro Comunitario de San Pablo, localizado en el 2450 Road 20, San Pablo, de las 7pm - 9pm.  Cuidado de niños, alimentos y bebidas serán proveídos.

Durante los últimos seis meses, la Ciudad ha estado hablando con los residentes sobre oportunidades para mejorar caminar y andar en bicicleta en San Pablo. Sobre la base de estas conversaciones, la Ciudad compartirá sus recomendaciones preliminares sobre una serie de mejoras para bicicletas y peatones para el público. ¡Venga a compartir sus pensamientos!

On June 20, 2016, the City Council approved the preparation of a Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan/Feasibility Study (“Plan”). Alta Planning + Design is the Consultant that has been hired to prepare the plan.
The purpose of the Plan is to:

1) Identify existing routes and gaps in routes or sidewalks that are used by bicyclists and pedestrians for travel or recreational activity

2) Compete for funds to invest in or enhance additional infrastructure

How can the Public get involved?

There will be two (2) community workshops (Fall 2016 and early 2017) before the Plan will be brought for consideration to the Planning Commission and City Council in mid 2017.

How can interested community members find out about the Plan?

This webpage will be used to post meeting information, relevant documents, and updates on the Plan. Please check back here for updates to this page and the status of the Plan.
