Risk Management/Workers’ Compensation

The City’s Risk Management function in the City Manager's Office/Human Resources Division administers workers’ compensation claims processing and insurance/liability responsibilities related to the City’s member agency participation in the self-insured Municipal Pooling Authority (MPA) of Northern California.  For more information, please go to: https://www.mpa-nc.com/

City Employee Training Program

In addition to managing the City’s human resources daily functions and operations, CMO/HR staff also administers the City’s employee training programs to meet all City operational requirements, and to minimize HR liability/risk to the City.

The City of San Pablo is a workplace where employees are given the opportunity to develop their skills by maximizing personal and group performance.
