Administration

The San Pablo Police Department Administration is currently comprised of Chief Ron P. Raman, Captain Brian Bubar, Captain James LaughterLieutenant John Benone, Lieutenant Shawn Ray, Lieutenant Dan Wiegers, Lieutenant Bradley Lindblom, Support Services Manager Celeste Taylor and Police Executive Assistant Tracey L. Thebodeau.  The command staff collectively represent nearly 80 years of continuing San Pablo police experience. 

The Chief of Police is the Chief Executive of the Department, and is responsible for its overall operations and personnel. The Chief is also responsible for ensuring the San Pablo Lytton Casino complies with their applicable tribal gaming code. 

Captain Bubar is responsible for Services (Investigations & Support Services), Public Information Officer (PIO), Legal/Civil Litigation, Building/Facilities

Captain Laughter is responsible for Patrol Operations.

Lieutenant Benone is responsible for Code Enforcement, CALEA, Training, Fleet, Community Outreach, Hiring/Casino Backgrounds, CAD/RMS

Lieutenant Ray is responsible for Investigations, POP, J.E.W.L., County Homelessness Board Member, CRU: (SWAT, HNT, Drone), Explorers & Cadets

Lieutenant Wiegers is responsible for Patrol (Staffing/Scheduling), Social Media Team, Peer Support Team, EOC, Field Training Program (FTP), K9, Jailers

Acting Lieutenant Lindblom is responsible for Patrol (Staffing/Scheduling), Traffic & Motors, Bike Patrol, Regional CCRT

Support Services Manager Celeste Taylor is responsible for Support Services/Records, Budget, PRA Requests, Building, Grants
