Application and Check List

The San Pablo Scholarship Program will accept applications from Monday, January 26, 2026 to Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at 5 p.m. 

In order to complete your application for the scholarship, please provide all of the required items on the check list below under "Application Check List."

Scholars previously awarded are invited to apply for a one-time renewal.

Once you start your application form, you will be able to copy and paste your short essay responses into the application. You will also be prompted to upload your proof of residence, proof of enrollment, and proof of FAFSA/CADAA.

  • Be under the age of 25 at the time of application for first time applicants
  • Complete and Submit the Scholarship Application (click link below) by Tuesday, March 31, 2026, by 5p.m.
  • Answer the essay questions below. As part of the application, tell us about your goals and plans for the future.  Your responses will not be used to determine whether you receive the award. The questions are meant to provide the Selection Committee with a snapshot about your post-secondary plans and understand how the Scholarship Funds will be used to support your plans.
    • What are your academic and career goals? (Maximum 350 words) 
    • What steps have you taken to achieve those goals?  (Maximum 350 words) 
    • How will this scholarship help you achieve your goals? How will you use this scholarship? (Maximum 200 words) 
    • Is there anything else you want us to know? (Maximum 100 words) 
  • Provide Proof of Residence: Please provide proof of residence by submitting a picture or file that includes your name and address. Examples:  
    • Submit a digital version of a photo identification with current address
    • Alternatively, students may provide a copy of their parent’s / main caregiver’s identification with current address and PG&E bill to provide proof of residence.
  • Proof of Enrollment in a College, University, or Career/Technical Program for the 2026-27 school year.
  • Proof of FAFSA or CA Dream Act Application, if enrolling in college or university.
