San Pablo Team for Youth (SPTFY) was redirected as the funding arm of the Community Schools Initiative in 2015 to provide funds to public and non-profit agencies wanting to expand and/or enhance school-based programs and services for children, youth, and families. For Cycle 4, the City of San Pablo offered organizations the opportunity to qualify for Lead Agency funds to implement Beacon Community Schools in San Pablo.

Bay Area Community Resources LogoCoordination of Community Schools
Bay Area Community Resources (BACR) provides a full time Beacon Director for Helms Middle School, Dover Elementary School, Downer Elementary School, Riverside Elementary School, and in 2020-21 also became the Lead Agency for Bayview Elementary School and Lake Elementary School. The Beacon Directors contribute to San Pablo’s vision for its children, youth and families by coordinating services to ensure all children and youth receive equitable support for intellectual, social, emotional and physical health and well-being. Current Grantee.
Catholic Charities of the East Bay LogoViolence Prevention & Intervention    
Catholic Charities of the East Bay (CCEB) provides restorative practices at Richmond High School to students, individually and in groups, as well as school-wide training, coaching, and technical assistance to promote a positive school culture and climate. Grantee from 2017-2022.
Familias Unidas LogoViolence Prevention & Intervention    
Familias Unidas operates clinical services at Richmond High School to address youth failing school and experiencing significant barriers due to the challenges of acculturation into the school environment, their communities, and the overall culture. The program includes case management/service linkages and peer mentoring components. Current Grantee.
YMCA LogoCoordination of Community SchoolsYMCA of the East Bay provided a full time Beacon Director for Lake Elementary School and Bayview Elementary School from 2017 through 2020. The Beacon Directors contribute to San Pablo’s vision for its children, youth and families by coordinating services to ensure all children and youth receive equitable support for intellectual, social, emotional and physical health and well-being.Grantee from 2017-2020.
