Police Department Organization

The San Pablo Police Department is a full service community-based law enforcement agency, consisting of sixty-two (62) sworn police officers, twenty-seven (27) full-time civilian employees, and eight (8) part-time civilian employees.

The agency's Administration is separated into three major divisions; Patrol, Investigations, and Support Services; and is managed by the Chief of Police, two (2) Captains, four (4) Lieutenants, and ten (10) Sergeants.   

PATROL
Uniformed patrol teams respond to all calls for service from the public and provide crisis intervention when necessary. Sub-divisions of Patrol include:

INVESTIGATIONS
Provides advances follow up investigations of all Part I criminal offenses and/or other assigned cases. Sub-divisions of Investigations include:

SUPPORT SERVICES
Controls distribution and maintenance of all police records and data entry. Sub-divisions of Support Services include:
