The District will provide free tuition for a full year to eligible students under the California College Promise, a statewide initiative to fund free tuition at community colleges.
In order to receive free tuition for up to one year, CCC, DVC and LMC students must meet the following requirements:
• Be a first-time college student
• Complete the District’s Pledge Application
• Complete the FAFSA or California Dream Act application
• Complete an educational plan
• Enroll in and complete a minimum of 12 units
• Maintain a 2.0 GPA
