The City of San Pablo does not have its own ordinance with regards to minimum wage and therefore defaults to the minimum wage law set forth by the State of California. Although there are some exceptions, almost all employees in California must be paid the minimum wage ($13.00 per hour for employers with 26 or more employees and $12.00 per hour for employees with 25 or fewer employees) as required by state law.
