Work for this week
Prime contractor, Ghilotti Brothers, Inc. (GBI), mobilized to the project. They passed out project notices, installed CMS boards on San Pablo Avenue northbound and southbound and at Robert Miller Drive westbound. They installed SWPPP measures, delivered delineators, installed Contractor’s yard at the island between Robert Miller and San Pablo Avenue eastbound (approved by City of Richmond PW Director).
GBI’s subcontractor Mountain Enterprises, Inc. removed trees in the median and on the east slope where the soil nail wall is going.
GBI’s subcontractor Construction Survey, Inc. started construction surveying on the project.
Work forecasted for next week
Finish layout and staking for the center median area. Potholing and saw cutting of median area and potentially start demolition in the median.
