Work Completed This Week
The prime contractor, Ghilotti Brothers, Inc. (GBI) continued with removal of the median island along San Pablo Avenue north of Robert Miller Drive. GBI also started construction of the street structural section in areas where the median was previously removed along San Pablo Avenue including at the intersection with Robert Miller Drive and between Robert Miller Drive to Lancaster Drive.
Work Forecast for Next Week
GBI is expected to finish construction of the structural section within the previously removed median at Robert Miller Drive and between Robert Miller Drive and Lancaster Drive. GBI is also expected to begin the placement of asphalt concrete pavement in these areas, as well as the off-haul of excavated material.
Traffic control is expected to remain unchanged next week with at least one through lane maintained in each direction along San Pablo Avenue within the work zone.
