In December 2018, the San Pablo City Council adopted a City-wide ban on the sale of flavored tobacco products, including methanol and e-cigarettes. The intent is to discourage the use of unhealthy tobacco products among adults and especially local youth. In order to allow time for local retailers and smoke shops to comply with the new ordinance and to enable these retailers to reduce and eliminate their existing tobacco inventory, the newly adopted ordinance becomes effective in March 2019. City officials are asking the community to take this brief survey (link below) in order to secure feedback regarding this new ordinance, and its impact on the community.
