The list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by research partner Energage, LLC, a leading provider of technology-based employee engagement tools. The anonymous survey measures several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution, and connection, just to name a few.
“Top Workplaces is more than just recognition,” said Doug Claffey, CEO of Energage. “Our research shows organizations that earn the award attract better talent, experience lower turnover, and are better equipped to deliver bottom-line results. Their leaders prioritize and carefully craft a healthy workplace culture that supports employee engagement.”
“San Pablo is very fortunate to have a City workforce that truly values one another. Our City operations are better for it as it spurs enhanced communication, creativity and teamwork throughout the organization. This Top Workplace award recognition is a reflection of our City employees and how they value each other, and how they turn that internal value into making our City programs and services more meaningful and relevant to the community,” stated San Pablo City Manager Matt Rodriguez. “They work hard every day to make a meaningful difference - - both internally to one another in each City Department, and externally to the individual City business owner or resident.”
