The areas around Pullman and Van Ness overflowed during the rainy season and flooded some houses. What is the City doing to prevent that in the future?
Storm drains flow into the creeks and San Pablo and Wildcat creeks have limited capacities and are located on private property. Therefore the city can not control the creek flow or capacity. The city encourages homeowners along the creeks to help keep the drains clear of obstructions and to purchase flood insurance.
